Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about the prototype, the planned product and your data.

Draft for the planned pilot release. These pages describe the intended customer experience. Administration and hosted-service features are not yet released; no live product URL or support service is claimed.

Is Cairn the AI model?

Cairn is a control and evidence layer around an agent's tools. The model and the governed business tools remain separate systems.

Can my organisation manage its own users?

That is required for the pilot product. Organisation administrators will manage their own memberships and permissions. This is not yet available in the current prototype console.

Can one customer see another customer's records?

The released product must prevent that on every relevant interface. Automated isolation tests and security review are launch gates.

Does a green verification result prove the agent was safe?

No. It reports the particular record checks performed. It does not prove that the policy was sufficient, the model was safe or an external action was appropriate.

What is the difference between approved and executed?

Approval records an authorised decision about an exact held action. Execution is the subsequent tool effect and its recorded outcome. These states must remain visible separately.

What happens if the connection fails?

The planned release must prevent consequential execution without valid control and durable evidence. Each supported integration will document its retry/reconciliation behaviour. It must not silently become ungoverned.

Can we export our evidence or leave the pilot?

An authorised export and orderly offboarding are release requirements. The pilot agreement will set data retention, responsibilities and termination arrangements.

Is there a production endpoint I can use now?

No hosted product endpoint has been verified in this release preparation. Access instructions will be issued only after the actual environment and onboarding have passed acceptance.

Where do I ask a private question?

For a general question, email hello@cairnintegrity.com or use Help and support. The released app will provide a private case-management route. Keep credentials and customer records out of an initial enquiry.
